History

The story of Bell'Invito
Bell’Invito Couture Stationery was founded by Heather Wiese Alexander, a successful graphic designer and art director. Heather, who studied abroad in Italy, was seeking to find a way to combine her love of Italian style and their meticulous craftsmanship with her skill for modern design.

Through happenchance she discovered forgotten family heirlooms, a number of late nineteenth-century presses that stood covered in dust for decades. She quickly realized their unique style of printing was perfect for her handcrafted stationery, and Bell’Invito was born.

Today Bell’Invito stationery is printed using presses that date back to the late 1800’s. The collections are known as Bell’Invito Couture, a completely custom line, sold through licensed luxury retail stores,  and Bell’Invito Letterpress,  boxed social cards and lifestyle musings.  The range of design utilizes both vintage and modern technologies to create unique statements of luxury and sophistication.

Our methods of design, materials, and print quality set us apart in the world of fine paper goods.  Additionally, Bell’Invito thrives on its commitment to excellent client services and has continued to produce a please clientele as it has grown in demand.
