Inspired by 14th-century Italian lace trimmings acquired off the island of Burano by founder Heather Wiese-Alexander, the Merletto series was carefully fashioned to metal dies to cast the imprint of the exquisite lace onto Italian paper. Two designs are offered in platinum letterpress with hand beveled silver edging and putty paper liner, and gold engraved with hand beveled gold edging and sky paper liner. Each boxed set includes 10 engraved social cards and 10 hand lined envelopes offered in a collectible charcoal lizard embossed box with satin ribbon.
